Semi Circular Fixation
Our premium orthoses with textile straps ensure stable semi-circular fixation by using the advantage of the corrugated aluminium core. All straps are equipped with high-quality medical velcro.
Stable Circular Fixation
The special corrugated aluminium Corrugatech core combined with corrugated aluminium containing straps ensures real circular fixation and unique flexi-fix stability, like no other product on the market.
By using a corrugated aluminium core instead of normal flat aluminium or the metal fixation used by conventional orthoses, Chrisofix can provide unique, flexible and adjustable immobilization combined with cast-like stability. This is the reason why several hospital experts and doctors mark Chrisofix flexi-fix healers as the real healing “convenient cast”.
Regulable stability
Traditional textile splints can be nicely adjusted, but this flexibility undermines real immobilization power, which is a must for a proper orthosis. experts and doctors mark Chrisofix flexi-fix healers as the real healing “convenient cast”. Thermoplastic splints or casts offer high level stability, but they cannot be properly adapted, and in a later stage of rehabilitation, adjusted or re-adjusted on the patient.
Chrisofix orthoses combine the advantages of both. Corrugated aluminium core and straps offer high level immobilization – like a cast – but due to their Corrugatech-foam-velour structure, they can be properly adapted and adjusted.
Adjustable – Re-adjustable
Adjustability and re-adjustability is a natural attribute of all Chrisofix orthoses. You can adapt within one minute, and without the use of water, heat or any special device, as is the case on thermoplastic products or traditional casts.
Ready to use
Chrisofix products are pre-formed and ready-to-use, and are equipped with all the necessary components, straps, and liners. While we offer size selection and side options – left-side, right-side or both-side products – you can still fine-tune and fully adapt the splint to the patient’s relevant body-area.
Corrugatech technology enables 100% customization – even within the size selections offered. The pre-formed product can be applied to the patient immediately.
X-ray transparent
As a result of the special corrugated aluminium structure, combined with medical textile and foam materials, all Chrisofix orthoses are x-ray transparent, so there is no need to take them off – even during x-ray examination.
Breathable – perforated structure
The perforated and lightweight structure ensures breathability and prevents sweating and itchiness. Patients, who experienced long weeks in casts, or used inconvenient textile – metal or thermoplastic solutions, already feel the Chrisofix difference in the very first minute.
Hygienic comfort & washable
Chrisofix orthoses offer more convenient daily hygiene and its mobility enables patients to start earlier physiotherapy. Splints can be quickly removed, washed, and re-applied within minutes. Several product versions also include a textile liner on the inside, which further boosts efficient cleaning and washing, while enabling the patient to wear the orthosis even during the liner washing period.
