The rough adjustment (bending) has to be performed on a non-injured limb of similar size. Fine adjustments, readjustments (e.g. after soft tissue swelling is reduced) can be made without removing the orthosis.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The orthosis is delivered in ready to adjust form with the most frequently used angle.<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, open the lateral fixation plates, set the required angle, and close them again.<\/li>\n<li>Put the leg with the plantar side into the orthosis.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the orthosis carefully to the leg, knee and femoral part.<\/li>\n<li>Fasten the orthosis with the bandages.<\/li>\n<li>For the best weight distribution, bolster up the knee with a cushion in a slightly crooked position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243;
