Fine adjustments, readjustments (e.g. after soft tissue swelling is reduced) can be made without removing the orthosis.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Place the forearm into the orthosis.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the orthosis with gentle pressure, and fix the thumb with the Velcro fastener.<\/li>\n<li>Fasten the three straps on the back of hand, at the wrist and on the forearm. To remove the orthosis, open the stiffened straps only on one side.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To remove the orthosis, it is not necessary to open the strap on the thumb and back of the hand; the hand can simply be pulled out from and later shifted back into the fixation. Frequent bending and stretching of the orthosis can damage its stability; these must be restricted to the necessary minimum.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243;
