INDICATION<\/strong><\/h6>\n

For first aid (sport injuries) and initial treatment. Isolated \ufb01xation (without involvement of the wrist) of the metacarpophalangeal (MP) joints of \ufb01ngers II-IV with fixation of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) and distal interphalangeal (DIP) joints of these \ufb01ngers in case of injuries, distorsions, in\ufb02ammations (e.g. felons), degenerative diseases and following surgery.<\/p>\n

Application and adjusting<\/strong><\/h5>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The ready to adjust Chriso<\/span>fi<\/span>x<\/span>\u00ae<\/span> orthoses have to be adjusted directly on the injured\/diseased body part. The <\/span>rough adjustment (bending) has to be performed on a non-injured <\/span>fi<\/span>nger. Fine adjustments, readjustments <\/span>(e.g. after soft tissue swelling is reduced) can be made without removing the orthosis.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Put the palm side of the hand and the <\/span>fi<\/span>nger to be splinted into the preshaped orthosis.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Fix the orthosis around the back of hand with the strap.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • With gentle pressure, carefully shape the <\/span>fi<\/span>nger part of the orthosis to the <\/span>fi<\/span>nger, and <\/span>fi<\/span> x it with the<\/span> small velcro strap\/s.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If necessary, you can bend the orthosis into the required position.<\/span><\/p>\n
